Help us kick off National Lung Cancer Awareness Month and join us in the fight against lung cancer by participating in the 2nd Annual LungStrong 15K/5K at Michael Waltrip's RaceWorld USA in Lake Norman NC.
The Run/Walk event is open to all participants who seek a challenge, runner-friendly course or just a fun and healthy way to support Lung Cancer awareness. The event features Live Music, a Wall of Honor, Massages, Prizes, Inflatables for the kids and much, much more.
The LungStrong 15K/5K benefits LUNGevity Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to funding lung cancer research. LUNGevity Foundation (www.lungevity.org) is the pioneer in lung cancer research, and is the leading private provider of research funding for the number one cancer killer.

Kris has recently been diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer. Kris is 36 year old non-smoker. He has been married for 10 wonderful years to Renee and has a 6 year old son, Grant.
