Entry Fees are non-refundable.  Credit Card payments are only accepted online.

Race Day registration and chip pick up begins at 6:45 AM

Packet Pick-Up
Pre Registered Participants (Participants who have registered on/before Saturday, October 9):
If you register online, by mail or in person on/before Saturday, October 9 you may pick up your race number and t-shirt one of two ways:
· At the Run For Your Life of your choice (Dilworth, Piper Glen or University) from Thursday, October 14– Friday, October 15 *.
· On race day beginning at 6:45AM at Jetton Village.

*NOTE : If you DO NOT mark your preferred Run For Your Life location to pick up your race number and t-shirt on the registration from, the default location is Run For Your Life- Dilworth. You have until Saturday, October 9 to select your preferred store if you register online, by mail or in person. After Saturday, October 9, you can ONLY pick up your race number and t-shirt at the Dilworth location if you register online or by mail. You are only allowed to pick up your packet at the Run For Your Life store of choice – NO EXCEPTIONS.

Race Week Participants (Participants who have registered after Saturday, October 9):

If you did not register before Saturday, October 9, you may do so and pick up your race number and t-shirt at the following Run For Your Life locations during the following times:

• Run For Your Life- Dilworth, Thursday – Friday 10AM - 7 PM
• Run For Your Life- Piper Glen, Thursday - 10AM - 7PM; Friday 10AM – 3:30PM
• Run For Your Life- University, Thursday – Friday 10:30AM – 7:30 PM
• Race Day beginning at 6:45AM at Jetton Village
  
  T-shirts are only guaranteed to runners that register before Saturday, October 9. Anyone who registers after Saturday, October 9 will receive a t-shirt only while supplies last.

You can also continue to register online through Thursday, October 14, but if you register race week, please allow at least 24 hours before you come in to pick up your race number, goody bag and t-shirt.

Awards will be presented at awards ceremony and will not be mailed.  Awards will be kept for 2 weeks at the Dilworth Run For Your Life location.

Age Groups

7 & under (5K), 8-10 (5K), 11-13 (5K), 14-17 (5K), 17&U (15K), 18-20, 21-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and up.

LUNGevity Foundation (www.lungevity.org) is the pioneer in lung cancer research, and is the leading private provider of research funding for the number one cancer killer.

Waiver
In consideration of the acceptance to the Lung Strong 15K/5K, I waive all claims for myself, my heirs and assignees against Run For Your Life, Event Marketing Services, Inc., and all Lung Strong 15K/5K sponsors, promoters and volunteers from injury or illness which may result from my participation.  I am in proper physical condition to compete in this race and risks associated therewith.  I also give my permission for the free use of my name and picture in any written account, broadcast or telecast of this event for any legitimate purpose.  I understand that if the race is canceled because of any circumstances beyond the control of the race committee and sponsors including but not limited to hazardous weather conditions or government ban, my entry fee will not be returned.  I understand my entry fee will not be refunded.  I understand that I will be charged $30 if I do not return the ChampionChip to Event Marketing Services, Inc. after the race.  I also understand that I must complete the 5K in 45 minutes and the 15K in 2 hours and 15 minutes.
